ABOUT US

OZ TOTS has been running for over 15 years in the eastern suburbs of Sydney and our classes continue to grow in popularity and numbers year on year. Why? Our tried and tested programs and amazing teachers …  read more about our teachers and how they can help your child/children below:

The founder of OZ TOTS is the highly experienced and gifted Marcia Lindoorn.

Marcia's experience as a dancer and teacher spans four continents and four decades. She founded Dance Maroubra in 1986, due to the increase of students after running the school for 4 years larger premises were needed which was found at The Spot in Randwick. The school was therefore renamed The Dance Spot. Once more this grew into a successful dance school. However through her experience in working with children for many years Marcia believed the ‘importance’ of giving a child the best start in life through music and dance was crucial. She then decided to specialize in the 3-5 year age group. In 2005 The Dance Spot was handed over to Mark Reily and Peta Frith which is presently one of Sydney’s prestige dance schools offering top training in all genres of dance.  Marcia subsequently developed the unique and now proven OZ TOTS.

“My priority has always been to bring out the best in each individual child. Your children are truly the most precious gift and they deserve to experience the joy of dance and music at an early age" says Marcia.

The founder of OZ BUBS & OZ TOTS PARTIES the loving and playful Pamela Hockley.

Affectionately known as Miss Pam (Marcia’s daughter), was trained in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre since she was four years old. Although she performed endless times on stage at concerts, public shows and eisteddfods, her love of dance was enjoyed most in class. She has been teaching dance since her teen years and is especially passionate working with the younger age groups. Pamela’s energy, dedication and compassion are an attribute to OZ TOTS.  After having 2 beautiful girls Pamela believed the best way to bond with your child is through music and dance. She therefore developed OZ BUBS which is a fun, loving and bonding class for Mums (or Dads) and Bubs. Pamela has also introduced OZ TOTS Parties and has made many memorable birthdays.

From her mother:
"My life would not have been complete without my beautiful, talented, loving, amazing little girl. Each day I think of her and love her with all of my heart!!"
